About this Product

This dazzling ornament set includes 6 colorful flower spheres, each about 3 inches wide and over 4 inches long (not including the hanging loop), and will look amazing as part of your unique holiday décor collection.

Inspired by Japanese kusudama, each handcrafted sphere is made from 60 separate petal pieces that are hand cut, folded, assembled, and decorated to form 12 individual flowers. These kusudama ornaments traditionally symbolize the giver's wishes for good health, good luck, and good fortune, and will make wonderful hostess gifts.

Featuring premium glitter papers in a rainbow of colors, each flower is decorated with vibrant rhinestone beads that catch the light in shimmery patterns. The flower spheres include clear glass pendants with AB coating for that extra sparkle. Each ornament set comes in a gift box, which you can also use for storage.

Meet the Maker

Hi! I'm Jaycee.

I've moved my way through the crowded cities of Asia and Southern California, and finally found my forever home in quiet, small town, Georgia. I love gardening, decorating for parties (but hate attending), trying different foods, and adventuring in new places. I think jumping spiders are cute but frogs make me squeamish.  I can be pretty awkward but I totally revel in my weirdness. Each item I make is crafted with happiness, a bit of geekiness, and a touch of humor (also, maybe some glitter. Okay, a lot of glitter and sparkles). I hope each gift sent from my shop makes its recipient smile.

The Paper Cauldron is currently my side gig (hoping to change that soon!) so please be patient with turnaround times. I’d love to hear your feedback, comments, or just stop by my social media and say “hi”.

note: The cutie pie in the pic is my logo inspiration and The Paper Cauldron's mascot. He passed away in 2019 but will forever be missed.

Also, that's me, being goofy on a hike in Arizona in the middle of winter. 5/5 totally recommend.

How it’s Made

Each flower sphere is made from 60 separate petal pieces that are hand cut, folded, assembled, and decorated to form 12 individual flowers--approximately a 3-hour process per sphere. The design is derived from the Japanese kirigami and origami (cut-paper and folded paper) art style. I hand select various paper patterns and decide on accent colors (some of my spheres have handpainted accents!). Each sphere is a labor of love and constructed with care.
